Here in America we play board games, outside games and video games, but in Mexico it’s a whole new level.
This is my favorite game of all time!
La vivora de la mar
(The sea snake)
Children form a line, they hold on to each other's waist, and 2 other children raise they're arms together and form an arch. Of the 2 children forming an arch one of them is cantaloupe and the other is watermelon. It is started off with a song. Mostly played at weddings.
Burro castigado
(punished donkey)
This game is similar to the game hide and seek, the seeker (the donkey) has 10 minutes to find 5 players and if he/she didn't ,they become the punished donkey.
Mientras el lobo no esta
(while the wolf is not here)
It’s a game in which children sing and the wolf who is outside the circle, answers explaining what he/she are doing. when the wolf answers '' yes'' all the kids run and the wolf must catch one of them.
You should try new games once in a while, here are some to choose from and how to play them. Have fun!
